"Hope For Children" World Carnival Day Manila, Philippines 28th May 2011!

REPORT BY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR ARTHUR A. TUASON.

“Come rain or high water, nothing can stop the work of the Lord.”

Despite the heavy rain and the floods brought by the typhoon, FusionExcel's ''Hope for Children'' World Carnival Day 2011 still pushed through last May 28, 2011 in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, albeit in a different venue, thanks to the perseverance of PD Pastor Art Medina and Pastor Rowel Abanto.

Just like in the previous year, to give FE's "Hope for Children" World Carnival Day an international flavor, the program started with a parade of flags of ASEAN countries. With each country having 150 kids, traditional Filipino fiesta games were carried out to the delight and excitement of the children. Of course, our very own FE Hope for Children Ambassador, 11-year old Clark Gamul, rendered several songs, inspiring all the kids present to develop their talents and abilities as well.

For what has been billed a big success, "Thank you’s" are in order. Firstly, to FusionExcel International, for making May 28, 2011 a truly special "Hope for Children" day for 1,500 Metro Manila children.

Thank you, too, to Presidential Director Pastor Art Medina for his real and inspiring leadership and guidance, to Pastor Rowel Abanto for his untiring efforts, dedication and professionalism that helped ensure the success of the event, to Pastor Steve Mirpuri for his support especially in the educational component of this project, to all the pastors, group leaders, office staff, FE Presidential Directors, EDs, Directors and distributors for their individual and collective help, to our volunteer medical and nursing staff who stayed to provide a ready hand to all in need during the day and most especially to God for whose glory and honor this is dedicated.
